Geology and land use

This database allowed to understand the relationships between geology and land use instantly. I have tested this database in a small part of far west Nepal and interesting relationships between land use and geology is noticed.

As shown in the above map and attribute tables highest number of land use polygons are clustered in Dadeldhura Klippe and Ranimatta formation. Dadeldhura klippe and Ranimatta formation both has gentle slope and dominantly composed of phyllitic, and schistose  rocks. These ideal lithological conditions and gentle slope pattern makes the Dadeldhura Klippe and Ranimatta formation the best habitat for human civilization.
